Part of the 210 Freeway in Sylmar Closed Due to Gunfire Incident
LOS ANGELES – Authorities closed a segment of the 210 Freeway in Sylmar on Tuesday afternoon following reports of gunfire.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to an incident involving an attempted carjacking, during which the suspect was reported to be armed. Moments later, shots were fired on the eastbound side of the freeway near Bledsoe Street.
Aerial footage from SkyFOX captured a significant police presence at the scene. As the investigation unfolds, a portion of the freeway will remain closed to traffic.
At this time, it remains unclear whether anyone was injured by the gunfire, and officials have not released further details about the incident.
