Pacha New York Shares Opening Weekend Details and Lineup: Find Out Who’s Performing

The operators of Pacha New York have announced the eagerly anticipated opening weekend, scheduled for June 20-21.
The two-night debut will feature English artist Michael Bibi on June 20, followed by South African DJ Black Coffee on June 21.
Bibi’s performance at Pacha will be his only U.S. appearance scheduled outside of the ARC Music Festival in Chicago in September. Meanwhile, Black Coffee’s show at Pacha marks his sole U.S. date this summer.
The announcement signifies a fresh start for the venue, which recently operated as the troubled Brooklyn Mirage. In February, it was revealed that Dubai-based FIVE Holdings entered into a long-term agreement to take full operational control of both the Brooklyn Mirage and The Great Hall, part of the Avant Gardner complex.
This transition will transform the Brooklyn Mirage into the only U.S. branch of Pacha, a renowned club brand with a storied presence in Ibiza. The announcement follows months of challenges for the Brooklyn Mirage, which was initially set to open in May of the previous year but faced delays and subsequent bankruptcy after failing to resolve permitting issues.
Pacha representatives addressed these challenges in an email sent on April 7 to approximately 30,000 ticket holders who were unable to obtain refunds for canceled shows at Brooklyn Mirage. The email offered original ticket holders coupons matching the value of their tickets, which total approximately $3,107,654. These vouchers can be redeemed for food, drinks, and merchandise at any Pacha New York event.
“Before we look ahead, we want to speak directly to you, the community that has always been at the heartbeat of New York’s dance culture,” the email stated. “We know the last chapter left many of you frustrated, especially those who held tickets for shows at the Brooklyn Mirage that never happened and were never refunded. While Pacha New York was not involved in these circumstances, we’ve made a conscious decision to make this right for you… We’re offering 100% of your original ticket value as a coupon at Pacha New York.”
