Offset made his on-stage comeback for the first time since being shot in Florida. The Migos rapper, 34, appeared at the University of Arkansas’s Rowfest on Saturday, April 11, where he was rolled onto the stage in a wheelchair.
Visuals from the concert capture Offset performing outdoors amidst a lively crowd of college students. This appearance follows his release from the hospital after a shooting incident outside the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on April 6.
“REAL LOVE,” Offset captioned an Instagram photo gallery from the event, which included clips of him being wheeled on stage and images of him in a red shirt, sunglasses, a hat, and a skeleton mask.
The rapper was shot in the valet area of the Hard Rock Casino following an altercation, later receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at a nearby hospital.
Lil Tjay was arrested on a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge in connection with the incident and posted a $500 bond on April 7. Following his release, he referred to Offset as a “rat” during an interview, detailing the shooting.
“The last thing I seen was Offset looking at me like this, ‘Yo, that n—a shot me. That n—a shot me.’ La la la. N—a is a rat,” he stated, before denying involvement in the shooting.
In response to recent events, audience members during Offset’s Rowfest performance were seen holding up phones with the message “F—k Lil Tjay.”
Offset’s next performance is scheduled for May 9 at the Xperience Live Event Center in Orlando, Florida.
