The high school baseball season is off to a thrilling start, marked by a standout performance from Norco pitcher Landon Hovermale. On Wednesday, Hovermale delivered an impressive six-inning, shutout outing, leading Norco to a 3-0 victory over Gahr.
Hovermale has been dominant this season, accumulating 18 2/3 innings without allowing a run, alongside 27 strikeouts and only one walk. His exceptional performance has been instrumental in the Cougars’ strong start, as they currently hold a record of 5-1. The pitcher is committed to playing for Grand Canyon University.
