Nicole Kidman Reflects on Divorce from Keith Urban
In a recent interview, Nicole Kidman opened up about her divorce from Keith Urban, expressing gratitude for her family as she navigates this new chapter in her life. "What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward,” the Oscar-winning actress stated. Their divorce was finalized in January 2026 after nearly two decades of marriage.
Kidman, 58, shared her thoughts in an interview with Variety. "I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” she said. “Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be.” She expressed pride in her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, who she described as "suddenly women."
The actress has often praised her daughters, stating, “I love teenage girls… I marvel at that age group and what they’re dealing with, but also their ability to handle so much.”
Kidman also emphasized the importance of maintaining close relationships in her life. “I have a very full life with people that I love. I’m raising daughters… I’m a best friend. I’m a sister, I’m an aunt. I have deeply intimate relationships with people,” she said. This ongoing commitment to her family underscores her belief in the significance of connection and legacy.
Kidman and Urban, both 58, finalized their divorce just months after announcing their separation in September 2025. They were married in 2006, sharing nearly 20 years of their lives together. As Kidman moves forward, her focus remains on the well-being of her daughters and the bonds they continue to share.
