Nicole Kidman Encourages Elle Fanning’s Character to Stand Strong in ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ Trailer
Apple TV has released the full trailer for Margo’s Got Money Troubles, a new series starring and executive produced by Elle Fanning, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman.
The eight-episode Apple Original series, produced by A24 and created by multi-Emmy Award winner David E. Kelley, is based on Rufi Thorpe’s best-selling novel. It is set to premiere globally on April 15, 2026, with three episodes available at launch, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday until May 20, 2026.
In a pivotal moment, Pfeiffer’s character Shyanne, a former waitress at Hooters and mother to Fanning’s character Margo, expresses her shock upon learning of her daughter’s unexpected pregnancy with her professor, played by Michael Angarano.
Margo, who decides to leave college to raise her son, Bodhi, finds herself in a financial bind. To make ends meet, she resorts to OnlyFans, supported by her father, former pro wrestler Dr. Jinx (Nick Offerman), and her roommate Susie (Thaddea Graham).

“I’m happy to guide you along,” says Offerman’s Jinx to Margo and her friends. “But the second that you start to do any more of your — you know — sexy things, I’ll just take the baby with me.”

The series builds to a dramatic confrontation between Margo and Mark (Angarano), with Kidman portraying the lawyer mediating their dispute.
“You will not be one of them,” Kidman’s character tells Margo after she lashes out at Mark, asserting her presence in her OnlyFans content.
Alongside the lead cast, the series features Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington.
This new series marks another collaboration between Kelley and Apple TV, following the success of the Emmy Award-nominated drama Presumed Innocent, which is currently in production for its second season.
