New Trailer for The Odyssey Released by Universal Pictures
Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for its upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan. The trailer made its debut during Monday night’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The film features a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Mia Goth, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal, and John Leguizamo.
The trailer offers a broader glimpse into Nolan’s interpretation of the classic Homeric tale, showcasing Theron in her role as Circe and providing the first look at the iconic Cyclops character.
Nolan penned the screenplay based on the ancient epic and is producing the film alongside Emma Thomas through their production company, Syncopy. Universal Pictures is handling the film’s distribution.
The highly anticipated project, shot with new IMAX technology, is set to be released in theaters on July 17, 2026.
