Netflix Expands Kids’ Content with New Series, Renewed ‘Trash Truck’, Games App, and Upcoming ‘Sesame Street’ Release Date
Netflix Expands Offerings for Preschool Children
Netflix is set to enhance its portfolio of preschool series, films, and games with the introduction of a new series, Young MacDonald, along with renewals for Trash Track and The Creature Cases. The streaming service also announced release dates for popular shows, including Sesame Street, CoComelon Lane, and Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie.
Additionally, Netflix is launching Playground, an interactive app designed for children aged 8 and under. This platform allows kids to engage with beloved characters from shows like Peppa Pig and Sesame Street. Available in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, the Philippines, and New Zealand, Playground will be accessible worldwide starting April 28.

Whether it’s reuniting with Hank and the Trash Truck crew for new adventures or making a smoothie with Peppa Pig, watching and playing on Netflix can be the fun and easiest part of every family’s day.”

Young MacDonald – This musical series features the optimistic grandson of Old MacDonald and his animal friends as they navigate farm life and solve problems together.

Furthermore, Netflix’s animated buddy comedy film Swapped will premiere on May 1, complementing the current slate that includes the competition series Schooled! and the live-action educational show Danny Go!.
