Major Multi-Vehicle Collision Disrupts Traffic Near Delano, California
A significant traffic incident involving nearly 60 vehicles has created substantial delays on Highway 99 in central California, just north of Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. near Delano. CHP Public Information Officer Hector Carias described the situation as “fluid,” highlighting that fog conditions contributed to the accident.
Authorities confirmed that a total of 59 vehicles were involved in the crash; however, details regarding any injuries remain unclear.
