Moreno Valley Resident Arrested on Suspicion of Murder
Man Arrested on Murder Charges Following Moreno Valley Assault
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. — A 38-year-old man has died from injuries sustained during an alleged assault, prompting the arrest of a suspect in Moreno Valley on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim, identified as Sean Street, was taken to a local hospital by a family member shortly after 2:45 p.m. on March 17. Officials reported that he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department quickly determined that Street had been assaulted in the 14000 block of Big Horn Avenue. Witnesses identified the suspect as 37-year-old Brandon Thigpen.
Thigpen was located in Moreno Valley and apprehended without incident. He has since been booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of murder.
