High School Baseball and Softball Results: Saturday Update
Los Angeles, CA – A series of exciting matchups marked Saturday’s high school baseball and softball games across the city and southern section, showcasing impressive performances from various teams.
In baseball action, Eagle Rock triumphed over Fairfax with a score of 11-4. El Camino Real defeated Narbonne 5-2, while Fremont secured an 8-4 victory against Gardena. Huntington Park emerged victorious against Jefferson, winning 9-4. Other notable scores included LA Hamilton edging Franklin 4-3, and Maywood CES dominating King/Drew 15-3. North Hollywood also claimed an 8-4 win over Chavez, and the Port of Los Angeles shut out Bravo 2-0. Reseda, Triumph Charter, and VAAS rounded out the day with victories, winning 12-3, 6-5, and a commanding 17-2 against Valley Oaks CES, respectively.
In the southern section, Bellflower overwhelmed Mayfair 9-1, and Brea Olinda took down Cajon 4-1. Burbank Providence achieved an impressive 16-0 win against Santa Monica Pacifica Christian. Citrus Valley also narrowly defeated Rancho Cucamonga 2-1, while Compton bested Lennox Academy 11-3. Additional highlights included Desert’s 15-0 win over Immanuel Christian and Faith Baptist’s 17-4 victory against Valley Torah.
In softball, Bell defeated Fremont with a score of 12-7, while Eagle Rock edged out Garfield 7-5. Harbor Teacher dominated Santee, winning 26-1, and LA Roosevelt triumphed over Lincoln 10-0. North Hollywood showed strong performance against Rancho Dominguez, winning 11-3. South East also delivered a powerful game, finishing 18-1 against Mendez.
In the southern section of softball, AAE posted an impressive 23-1 victory over NSLA, and Anaheim defeated Ocean View 11-1. Arcadia also won decisively against Chino, finishing 7-0. Other teams achieving notable victories included Baldwin Park, Cajon, and Heritage Christian.
