City Section Highlights
In recent City Section baseball games, Amit triumphed over Reseda with a decisive score of 11-1. Carson also showcased a strong performance, defeating Rancho Dominguez 10-0. Other notable outcomes included Crenshaw’s loss to Dymally, 4-16, and Diego Rivera’s impressive victory against West Adams, 15-2. Downtown Magnets garnered attention with a staggering 23-3 win over Central City Value.
The day saw LACES shutting out Westchester, scoring 19-0, while LA Marshall secured an 11-1 victory against Eagle Rock. Meanwhile, LA University edged out Fairfax, concluding the match at 8-7. Other results showed Lincoln defeating Bravo 8-5 and Marquez overwhelming Maywood Academy, 19-2.
Impressive win streaks continued with Maywood CES narrowly edging Sotomayor, 7-6, and Narbonne outlasting San Pedro, 5-1. The scores continued to reflect dominant performances across the board, including Palisades’ 4-2 victory over Venice and Port of LA’s 4-1 triumph against Fremont. San Fernando secured a 2-0 win against Sun Valley Poly, and Stella claimed a 20-10 victory against Animo Venice.
In softball, Harbor Teacher took a commanding 15-4 win over Fremont.
Southern Section Results
In Southern Section baseball, Arroyo defeated Rosemead 8-5, while Banning held off Desert Mirage with a final score of 12-8. Beverly Hills demonstrated their prowess by winning against Hawthorne Math & Science, 13-2. Notable games also included Calabasas beating Highland 9-4 and California narrowly defeating Norwalk, 3-2.
Other performances worth mentioning were California Lutheran with an 8-5 victory over Norton Science and Calvary Baptist dominating United Christian Academy, 21-0. Canyon Springs defeated Vista del Lago 8-0, and Chadwick secured a close win against Pasadena Poly, 7-6.

Desert Hot Springs showcased their talent with a staggering 25-7 victory over Cathedral City. Ganesha made headlines with an 18-0 win against Pomona, further highlighting the competitive nature of these games.
In intersectional softball play, Grace dominated Canoga Park with an 18-2 scoreline, while Inglewood also made a statement by defeating Alliance Ouchi, 20-5. Viewpoint added to the excitement with a 7-0 shutout against Fulton.
