Baseball Highlights
In the City Section, Cleveland triumphed over South Gate with a score of 6-1. The Collins Family team defeated Alliance Ouchi 13-6, while Gardena bested King/Drew 11-5. Palisades secured a narrow victory against San Fernando, winning 2-1.
In the Southern Section, Arcadia edged past El Dorado 5-4. Bethel Christian managed a close win over Norton Science, finishing 1-0. Meanwhile, Calabasas triumphed over Stockton Lincoln with a score of 9-2. Dominating performances were seen from Canyon Country Canyon, which defeated de Toledo 18-0, and Chadwick, which overwhelmed Army-Navy 25-1.
Other significant matches included Citrus Hill defeating Indio 8-2 and Glendora securing a 13-4 victory against Portola. Jurupa Valley also had a strong showing, winning 16-5 against Adelanto.

In the Southern Section of softball, Baldwin Park claimed a decisive victory over Gabrielino, winning 21-9. Calabasas triumphed against Channel Islands 13-8, while Cornerstone Christian edged California Lutheran 12-8. Long Beach Poly continued their dominance, overpowering Long Beach Cabrillo 21-1.
Los Amigos delivered a commanding performance, defeating Santa Ana Valley 10-0, and Millikan shut out Long Beach Jordan with a 17-0 score. Other highlights included Newbury Park’s 12-7 victory against Oxnard Pacifica and Rancho Cucamonga winning 10-4 against Temescal Canyon.
In the intersectional matches, Alhambra showcased their skill by defeating Rancho Cotate, while Atascadero edged out Corcoran 8-7. Chico also had a solid win against Durham, finishing 8-5.
