CAA Signs Rising Star Milo Manheim for Disney’s Live-Action ‘Tangled’
In a significant industry move, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has signed actor Milo Manheim, known for his work in the Disney musical franchise Zombies. Manheim has secured the lead role of Flynn Rider in Disney’s live-action adaptation of the beloved animated film Tangled, directed by Michael Gracey. The versatile 25-year-old actor had garnered attention from numerous agencies prior to this signing.
Currently, Manheim portrays Wally Clark in the third season of the Paramount+ series School Spirits, which premiered in January. In addition to his screen work, Manheim has recently shared the stage with talents such as Cynthia Erivo and Adam Lambert in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. He also made his Off-Broadway debut as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. His performance in Deaf West’s staging of Green Day’s American Idiot marked a milestone, becoming the Mark Taper Forum’s highest-selling show of all time.
Manheim’s accolades include winning the New York Musical Theatre Festival award for Best Leading Actor for his role in Generation Me, and he gained further visibility as a runner-up on Dancing With the Stars. With over 13 million followers on social media, his popularity continues to rise.
