Miley Cyrus to Present the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Season 18 Finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race
Miley Cyrus is set to receive a special honor during the Season 18 finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race, scheduled to air on Friday, April 17, on MTV. She will be awarded the Giving Us Lifetime Achievement Award, an accolade introduced in 2023, which was first presented to designer Bob Mackie.
Cyrus joins a prestigious group of past recipients, including icons Liza Minnelli and Elvira, as the reality series competition wraps up its current season. She will make a special appearance during the finale, where the top queens will showcase their talent in performances and lip sync battles for a chance to win a grand prize of $200,000. The climactic finale will feature a lip sync showdown to Cyrus’s track “Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved” featuring Naomi Campbell from her latest album, Something Beautiful.
The Season 18 premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race aired on January 2, 2026, and achieved record viewership on MTV, marking a significant growth compared to the previous season. As the competition continues, viewers can look forward to an episode airing on Friday, March 27, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, where contestants will engage in a chaotic improv challenge inspired by viral "Karen" meltdowns, with actress Julianne Nicholson serving as guest judge.
The panel of mainstay judges for RuPaul’s Drag Race features RuPaul Charles, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and Ts Madison. The queens competing in Season 18 include Athena Dion, Briar Blush, Ciara Myst, Darlene Mitchell, DD Fuego, Discord Addams, Jane Don’t, Juicy Love Dion, Kenya Pleaser, Mandy Mango, Mia Starr, Myki Meeks, Nini Coco, and Vita VonTesse Starr.
