Mike Colter and Finn Jones Share a Special Moment with Krysten Ritter on the Set of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
Disney+ is gearing up for a reunion of The Defenders with Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again, which is currently filming in New York City.
On Friday, actors Mike Colter from Luke Cage and Finn Jones from Iron Fist were spotted alongside Krysten Ritter, who stars as Jessica Jones, outside a Brooklyn courthouse.
Following Ritter’s addition to Season 2 last year, the upcoming season appears set to feature an onscreen reunion of the cast from The Defenders.
The show continues the narrative established in the Netflix series Daredevil (2015-2018), with Charlie Cox reprising his role as the titular Hell’s Kitchen vigilante. New episodes of Season 2 are available to stream on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Disney+.
The original series, created by Drew Goddard, was part of Netflix’s Marvel lineup, which also included Jessica Jones (2015-2019), Luke Cage (2016-2018), and Iron Fist (2017-2018), culminating in the collaboration of all characters in 2017’s The Defenders.

Daredevil: Born Again showrunner Dario Scardapane recently addressed the lack of character crossover with the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe, noting, “The joke we make is, ‘Oh, those guys are uptown – we’re downtown!’” Scardapane emphasized that while the characters inhabit the same universe, the focus remains on their specific narratives within Hell’s Kitchen in New York City.
