Michelle Obama Shows Off a Fun Winter Jeans Trend with a Lime Green Cardigan in a Heartwarming Family Thanksgiving Photo
Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama shared a rare family portrait to celebrate Thanksgiving. The picture features the couple alongside their daughters, Malia, 27, and Sasha, 24, all dressed in festive attire.
“During this season of giving, let’s do what we can to give back to the communities that have given us so much. From our family to yours, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!” Barack wrote in the Instagram post caption.
Michelle chose a relaxed outfit for the occasion, sporting white wide-leg jeans—a trend that has gained popularity among various celebrities. She paired them with a white top adorned with a green and yellow floral pattern, complemented by a lime green cropped cardigan with delicate sleeve cutouts.

Barack coordinated his look with a simple white shirt and khaki trousers. Their daughters also mirrored each other’s styles, with Malia donning a distressed butter-yellow dress, while Sasha opted for a low-rise, semi-sheer white boho skirt and a cropped autumnal red blouse layered with a denim jacket.
Recently, Michelle humorously remarked to InStyle that she wouldn’t borrow her daughters’ clothes. “I don’t want their janky little clothes,” she stated, adding, “No, they steal from me.”
Earlier this week, the couple also shared a joint Instagram post celebrating their work with the Obama Foundation, reflecting on their journey together.

Thanksgiving has long held special significance for the Obama family. During Barack’s presidency, Michelle ensured that the entire family gathered for the holiday. Her brother, Craig Robinson, noted, “She always invited us to everything that we would want to come to,” emphasizing the importance of family togetherness during these occasions.
