Michelle Williams recently celebrated her first Grammy nomination outside of Destiny’s Child for her work on the 2024 original Broadway cast recording of Death Becomes Her. Nominated for Best Musical Theater Album, Williams will compete against other renowned artists, including Audra McDonald, Jonathan Groff, and Darren Criss. She delivered a standout performance of “If You Want Perfection” from Death Becomes Her during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Similarly, Mrs. Obama has been busy this season. On November 4, she released her third book, The Look, featuring over 200 photographs that document her style journey from the White House and beyond. Earlier this year, she engaged in a conversation with Tina Knowles about Knowles’ memoir, Matriarch, furthering her long-standing connection with the Knowles-Carter family. In a June podcast episode, she praised Blue Ivy’s growth during Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour, which included a surprise Destiny’s Child reunion at its final stop.
The Boy Is Mine Tour has seven performances remaining, concluding at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, on December 14. Over the weekend, Muni Long announced her departure from the tour, citing medical advice. Grammy-winning artist Mýa will replace her for the remaining shows.
