Metallica Adds 24 New Shows to Their Sphere Residency
Metallica has expanded their 2026-2027 “Life Burns Faster” residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, adding ten new dates for a total of 24 performances. Update: Tickets for the newly announced shows are now sold out.

The newly added dates in 2027 include performances on February 4, 6, 18, 20, 25, and 27, as well as March 3, 5, 11, and 13. Fan club pre-sales are already in motion, with general ticket sales set to begin on Friday, March 6th, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.
Initially, the iconic band announced eight dates, subsequently adding six more before including the latest ten. They stated, “This is it — we’re maxing out Life Burns Faster” as they revealed the final four dates. The residency will take place from October 2026 through March 2027.
The residency will feature completely unique sets on Thursdays and Saturdays, following a format similar to the “No Repeat Weekends” from their ongoing “M72 World Tour.”
