Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech have welcomed their third child, a son named Ransom McCain Domenech. The baby was born on January 2, according to exclusive information from PEOPLE.
“Everyone is happy, healthy, and exhausted,” McCain stated. “We’re absolutely over the moon that our baby boy is here.”

“We’re so grateful to the incredible doctors and medical staff who took such wonderful care of all of us,” McCain continued, noting she is also the mother to two daughters, Liberty Sage, 5, and Clover Jade, 2. “Liberty and Clover are so excited to have a baby brother. Our family is so blessed.”
McCain, the daughter of the late U.S. Senator John McCain and Cindy McCain, first shared her pregnancy news in June. She later discussed her experience during a podcast with Usha Vance.
In a recent conversation, McCain reflected on her expectations for motherhood. “I feel so lucky just to have children because I didn’t know if I was ever going to be able to have children,” she expressed. “I feel so lucky to be in this really sweet spot in my life right now.” She emphasized a desire to keep her parenting “really basic” and to appreciate every moment, even when it’s not glamorous.
