Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Celebrate Thanksgiving with Their 8-Month-Old Daughter
Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly, though no longer a couple, came together to celebrate Thanksgiving this year, as reported by People. The former partners share an 8-month-old daughter, Saga Blade.
An insider shared insights into their reunion, stating, "He’s been making a huge effort to work on himself." According to the source, Fox celebrated the holiday alongside Kelly, whose birth name is Colson Baker, highlighting how their relationship has evolved since last year. “They’ve come so far since last year,” the insider remarked.
The atmosphere of their Thanksgiving was notably more positive this year. "It was a much happier celebration. He wants Megan to be happy. He wants to be around for the baby," the source added.
In October, Fox spoke candidly at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, reflecting on how her life has shifted after welcoming Saga. "I want to say I just had a baby," she explained during a Q&A session centered on her 2009 film, Jennifer’s Body. Fox admitted to experiencing significant brain fog since her daughter’s birth, and humorously added, “If I repeat myself, I’m sorry. Just interrupt me and tell me I’m off track.”
Saga is Fox’s only child with Kelly, and the name carries significant meaning. During a June appearance on the Today show, Kelly explained the inspiration behind their daughter’s unique moniker. "Her journey, the five years of her culmination of coming, disappearing, coming back again… she’s an epic story, and that’s what Saga means," he noted, seemingly referencing Fox’s previous pregnancy losses.
Kelly further elaborated on the name, saying, "I’m also of Norwegian heritage, and so that’s a Nordic goddess of storytelling, and I think she has a storytelling future ahead of her." He expressed admiration for Fox, stating, “Megan’s a great mom and just killing it, and I’m so excited.”
Their Thanksgiving gathering not only signifies their continued commitment to co-parenting but also hints at the potential for personal growth and healing in their relationship.
