Among their ceremonial duties, the grand marshals will have the honor of announcing the iconic words in motor racing: "Drivers, start your engines."
The grand marshals are:
- Audrey Crowley, para alpine skiing
- Brenna Huckaby, para snowboarding, 2026 bronze medalist
- Brody Roybal, sled hockey, 2026 gold medalist
- Declan Farmer, sled hockey, 2026 gold medalist
- Jordan Stolz, speedskating, gold and silver medalist
- Kaysha Love, bobsled
These athletes are members of Team Honda, the official automotive partner of Team USA and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Jim Liaw, President and CEO of the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, expressed enthusiasm about honoring the athletes. "It is a tremendous honor for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach to recognize these remarkable Team Honda Olympic and Paralympic athletes as our Grand Marshals," Liaw said. "The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach has long embraced the tradition of honoring champions from across the sports world, and this year’s Grand Marshal group thrilled audiences around the world with their talent and determination at Milano Cortina 2026 – we are proud to celebrate their accomplishments here in Long Beach."
