Meet the Chefs of America’s Culinary Cup: A Look at Season 1 on CBS
CBS has announced the contestants of the inaugural season of America’s Culinary Cup. Hosted and produced by Padma Lakshmi, the cooking competition will debut on Wednesday, March 4, at 9:30 p.m. ET, and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
Joining Lakshmi as judges are renowned chefs Michael Cimarusti and Wylie Dufresne. Together, they will evaluate the culinary talents of the contestants, who include six Michelin-starred chefs—a distinction awarded to less than one percent of restaurants globally—along with two Bocuse d’Or medalists and two James Beard Award winners, among other culinary achievements.

Competitors will be challenged to master ten culinary commandments—including areas such as Meat, Vegetables, and World Cuisine. The judges will assess participants based on taste, creativity, presentation, and technique, determining who advances, who is eliminated, and ultimately, who will take home a historic grand prize of $1 million—the largest in culinary television history.
America’s Culinary Cup is produced by Padma Lakshmi for Delicious Entertainment and Susan Rovner for Aha Studios, with Josh Silberman serving as showrunner.
