Matthias Schoenaerts, Makita Samba, and Marton Csokas Team Up with Halle Berry for ‘Fleur’ Filming in Paris
Filming has commenced in Paris for the upcoming film Fleur, starring Halle Berry alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Makita Samba, and Marton Csokas.
In Fleur, Berry portrays a New York housewife who escapes her three-decade marriage to Csokas’s character and begins anew in Paris as an upscale escort and dominatrix. As her past intersects with her present, the film raises a crucial question: Can she truly leave her old life behind?
The screenplay for Fleur is penned by Cameroonian American filmmaker and novelist Ellie Foumbi, who also takes on the directorial role. This marks her second feature following the 2021 Venice-premiering thriller Our Father, the Devil.
AGC Studios, led by Stuart Ford, is financing and co-producing Fleur in collaboration with Victor Hadida’s Davis Films, which will distribute the film in France under the Metropolitan Filmexport label.
