Marybeth Sprows Joins Hallmark Media Again; Tatiana Erasme Takes on a New Role
Hallmark Media has expanded its leadership team with two significant appointments. Marybeth Sprows is joining the company as Senior Vice President of Original Series, while Tatiana Erasme has been promoted to Vice President of Casting and Talent.
This marks a return for Sprows, who previously worked for Hallmark Media, then known as Crown Media. Before her recent appointment, she was at Sony Pictures Television, leading the Affirm Television division, which specialized in family and faith-based programming. Prior to leaving Sony in 2019, Sprows served as Vice President of Original Programming. Her production credits include a modern adaptation of Little Women, the documentary The Dating Project, and several made-for-TV movies, including Every Other Holiday, The Town that Came A-Courtin’, and Christmas for a Dollar. Additionally, she has experience from Paulist Productions, Imagine Television, and Bad Robot.
Erasme has been with Hallmark Media since 2017, previously serving as the director of casting. In her new role, she will oversee all casting operations for the network’s talent pool.
Both executives will be based in Los Angeles and report to Michelle Vicary, Head of Programming.
These appointments follow the recent announcement of Darren Abbott as President of Hallmark Media, succeeding John Matts.
“Compelling series and beloved talent are highly regarded components of our business that bring perpetual joy to our viewers,” Vicary stated. “I’m pleased to welcome Marybeth, a veteran producer and storyteller, back to the company where she will amplify Hallmark’s successful trajectory of original series. I’m also proud to celebrate Tatiana’s contributions and her ongoing dedication to her craft, which allow us to shine a spotlight on a sensational repertoire of talent, both longstanding and new, who have helped make Hallmark a place where fandom is ever-growing.”
