Mark Linn-Baker, Joanna Gleason, and Didi Conn Join the Cast of Elsbeth for Season 3
Elsbeth Season 3 to Feature Esteemed Cast Members in Episode 16
The upcoming third season of Elsbeth is set to welcome an array of talented actors, including Mark Linn-Baker, Joanna Gleason, and Didi Conn. The trio will appear together in Episode 16, joining previously announced cast member Griffin Dunne.
Linn-Baker portrays Barney Corman, a bookstore owner and literary critic with a shared hometown connection to renowned novelist Elliott Pope, played by Dunne. This shared past raises the stakes of Barney’s criticisms, leading to grim consequences.
Conn takes on the role of Beverly Corman, Barney’s wife turned widow, who is fiercely determined to seek justice for her deceased husband.
Gleason joins the cast as Maura Davidoff, Elliott’s intelligent former wife, who pens her own tell-all regarding her marriage to the esteemed author.
As highlighted previously, Dunne’s character, Elliott, is a famous author known for his massive ego and thin skin. When a childhood acquaintance critiques his latest work, the narrative takes a lethal turn.
Based on the character from The Good Wife and The Good Fight, Elsbeth Tascioni, portrayed by Carrie Preston, is a sharp yet unconventional attorney collaborating with the NYPD to apprehend affluent murderers, employing her unique insights. Wendell Pierce also stars as Captain Charles Wallace (C.W.) Wagner.
Other guest stars in Season 3 include Lindsey Normington, Jaime Pressly, Andrew Rannells, Tony Hale, Dianne Wiest, Lois Smith, Sarah Steele, who reprises her role as Marissa Gold from the Good Wife/Fight series, Stephen Colbert, William Jackson Harper, Annaleigh Ashford, Andy Richter, and Amy Sedaris.
