Maddie Ziegler, Rob Lowe, Graham Phillips, and Elias Kacavas Join Cast of Netflix Rom-Com ‘In a Holidaze’
Maddie Ziegler, Rob Lowe, Graham Phillips, and Elias Kacavas have been announced as the stars of Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy In a Holidaze. The film is directed and written by Tiffany Paulsen, who is known for Winter Spring Summer or Fall, and produced in collaboration with Alloy Entertainment.
This project marks Alloy’s first release under a multi-year first-look film deal with Netflix. The film is adapted from the 2020 novel by Christina Lauren, a pen name for writing partners Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings, who together have authored 20 New York Times bestsellers. The story centers around a young woman in her twenties who, after making a significant romantic mistake, finds herself stuck in a holiday time loop, reliving the same Christmas at her family’s cabin until she uncovers what truly brings her happiness.
Leslie Morgenstein, Alloy’s president and chief creative officer, will produce the film alongside Elysa Koplovitz Dutton, the company’s EVP of Film. Rob Lowe will serve as the executive producer.

Maddie Ziegler, who was recently featured in Megan Park’s acclaimed dramedy My Old Ass on Prime Video, has an upcoming slate that includes the action thriller Ballerina Overdrive. She is represented by WME, manager Rachel Rothman, and attorney Scott Whitehead.
Rob Lowe is currently starring in Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star and hosting their game show The Floor. His future projects include the ABC comedy The Ram, the dark comedy My New Friend Jim, and the Bleecker Street horror film The Third Parent. He is represented by WME, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Latham & Watkins.
Graham Phillips is known for his roles in shows such as The Good Wife, Atypical, and Riverdale, and has appeared in films like Yes Day and Blockers. He will next be seen in Prime Video’s Scarpetta alongside Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis. He is represented by Gersh, Amplified, and Felker Toczek Suddleson.
Elias Kacavas has appeared in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, as well as parts in Euphoria, Fire Country, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3. He is represented by Innovative Artists.
Tiffany Paulsen made her feature directorial debut with Winter Spring Summer or Fall, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival. She previously penned the female-driven comedy Reunion for Netflix and has also written two rom-coms featuring Emma Roberts: Holidate, which was a major success for Netflix, and About Fate, now available on Prime Video. Paulsen is represented by Verve and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.
Alloy Entertainment has consistently achieved success with its Netflix partnerships, having opened all three of its films at #1, including Work It, Purple Hearts, and You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah. On the television front, their hit series You has run for five seasons on Netflix, alongside other notable shows such as Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, and The Vampire Diaries.
