Lindsay Lohan Shares Excitement About Her Upcoming Role as Future Maggie on The Simpsons
Lindsay Lohan is set to join the ranks of iconic characters as she guest stars on The Simpsons this weekend. The actress announced her involvement in the long-running animated series on social media Friday, revealing her role as Future Maggie in the upcoming Season 37 episode titled "Parahormonal Activity," which is scheduled to air Sunday at 8/7c on Fox.
In an enthusiastic post on Instagram, Lohan expressed her excitement: “Catch me on #TheSimpsons this Sunday on FOX! What a dream come true to be part of this iconic family.” She also shared a clip featuring her voice work for a slightly older version of the beloved character, known for her perpetual baby status.
This casting choice holds a unique meta significance, as fans noted that Elizabeth Taylor originally voiced Baby Maggie in the 1992 episode "Lisa’s First Word." This came two decades before Lohan portrayed Taylor in the Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick.
Lohan’s guest appearance is part of her recent onscreen resurgence, having reprised her role as Anna Coleman in the Disney sequel Freaky Friday, which is currently available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
Meanwhile, The Simpsons prepares for its milestone 800th episode in February. As the show continues to evolve, Disney+ is launching a dedicated channel for it, alongside an upcoming film set to debut in theaters on July 23, 2027.
