Lily Allen has entered the ongoing Beckham family drama with a cheeky commentary aimed at Brooklyn Beckham.
Following Brooklyn’s explosive Instagram posts accusing his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of spreading “countless lies” and attempting to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham, Allen shared her own take. The 26-year-old’s posts have stirred discussions about a possible rift within the family.
On her Instagram Stories, Allen posted a modified cover of her album, West End Girl, featuring Brooklyn’s face in place of hers. In a subsequent post, she tagged a digital media artist named Glassface.
The posts appear to draw parallels between the fallout from Brooklyn’s claims and the themes in Allen’s album, released on October 24, 2025, which includes lyrics inspired by the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour.
In an interview with Perfect Magazine, Allen revealed that some of her songs were written “in character,” describing them as “autofiction,” a blend of autobiography and fiction. She expressed that the album documents her life and the experiences leading up to her current circumstances.
Discussing the album in an appearance on CBS Mornings, Allen described the creative process as an “act of desperation” rather than a “commercial endeavor.” She noted uncertainty about sharing the work until close to its release.

Brooklyn’s revelations on Instagram have made significant waves as well. After months of speculation regarding a rift with his parents, Brooklyn directly addressed the situation in a lengthy statement, alleging that his family had attempted to sabotage his relationship with Nicola for publicity reasons.
Brooklyn’s Instagram posts conveyed, “I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself.” He further stated, “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled; I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
Brooklyn recounted instances where he claims his family tried to undermine his relationship, including at his 2022 wedding and during his father’s 50th birthday celebrations. Notably, sources close to the family have indicated that tensions escalated when Victoria Beckham allegedly overshadowed a significant moment at Brooklyn’s wedding.
David and Victoria Beckham have been approached for comment on Brooklyn’s statements.
