Kylie Jenner Shares Her Skincare Routine Before the Golden Globes Inspired by a Viral Trend
Kylie Jenner showcased a unique skincare ritual ahead of the 2026 Golden Globes, drawing significant attention on social media. Before stepping onto the red carpet, the reality star shared a TikTok video demonstrating her use of an ice bath, a trend that has recently gained popularity.
In her video, Jenner, 28, humorously referred to her makeup artist and friend Ariel Tejada, stating, “The things Ariel makes me do.” She employed the FaceTub, a specially designed bowl with a face-shaped indent for ice and water, which retails for $145. The tool also includes a snorkel-like tube for breathing while submerged.
As she prepared for the ice bath, Jenner expressed her nerves, exclaiming, “Wait, let me practice breathing.” After taking the plunge, she quickly emerged, laughing, “I forgot how to breathe when I got in there,” and adding, “I feel like that was like a brain freeze.” Despite her initial hesitance, she described the experience as rejuvenating and concluded her routine with, “That felt good, I’m done.”
This is not Jenner’s first encounter with such skincare methods. In a 2024 TikTok “get ready with me” video, she used a simpler version of the ice bath technique but without the special tub. During that session, she similarly dunked her face in cold water, remarking, “Oh s—t. It’s really crazy.”
At the Golden Globes, Jenner dazzled in a gold sequined gown by Ashi Studios, paired with stunning diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, while supporting her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, who won a Golden Globe for his role in “Marty Supreme.”
The FaceTub has garnered attention beyond the beauty community. Joe Jonas recently endorsed the product, noting that it has become a staple among his family and friends. Fans are now left wondering if Chalamet will also embrace the viral skincare trend.
