South Korean rapper G-DRAGON made headlines with a breathtaking display of jewelry during his recent performances, including the encore of his Übermensch World Tour and the 2025 Melon Music Awards. The artist, known for his bold fashion statements, wore a custom piece from Jacob & Co. featuring a staggering 209.71 carats of gemstones.
G-DRAGON, whose real name is Kwon Ji-yong, took the stage in December, delivering a memorable performance that was as much about style as it was about music. His striking accessory, a jeweled bandana collar, attracted significant attention for its extravagant design and sheer size.
The luxury jewelry brand Jacob & Co. created this unique piece, echoing G-DRAGON’s signature bandana style. Its notable specifications include a daisy pendant made from a 5.40 ct. Fancy Yellow Round Brilliant Cut Diamond, surrounded by an astonishing array of white and yellow diamonds.

According to reports, the collar also includes an assortment of smaller gemstones such as rubies, emeralds, Paraiba tourmalines, and sapphires, which contribute an additional 10.60 carats. The entire stunning creation is set in polished precious metal, showcasing the collaboration between the rapper and the brand.
"This one-of-one creation reflects his world, which is bold, expressive, and constantly evolving," said Benjamin Arabov, CEO of Jacob & Co. in a press release. He emphasized the honor of crafting such a piece for a significant moment in G-DRAGON’s artistic journey.

This isn’t G-DRAGON’s first collaboration with the renowned jewelry house. The two previously partnered on the bespoke Astronomia Solar G-Dragon timepiece, debuting in February 2025, which featured 193 baguette-cut white diamonds and 152 rainbow-colored sapphires, valued at $1 million. Their partnership also includes the PEACEMINUSONE jewelry collection, which creatively reimagines G-DRAGON’s iconic daisy motif.

G-DRAGON’s return to the stage follows his first North American and European tour since 2017, coinciding with the release of his third studio album, Übermensch, and marked his first musical release in eight years. "I’m excited to return to tour in the U.S. and Europe after eight years," he expressed. "This tour is not just a performance — it’s a canvas where every sound, look, and moment is part of a larger expression of who I am now."
