King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard Set to Play Exclusive 2026 US Shows and Host Their Own Festival
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have officially revealed their only US shows for 2026, which will include the second iteration of their Field of Vision festival.
Scheduled from August 14th to 16th at Meadow Creek in Buena Vista, Colorado, Field of Vision II will showcase an impressive lineup featuring Blood Incantation, Die Spitz, DJ Crenshaw, Earth Tongue, Etran de L’Aïr, Folk Bitch Trio, Lisa Bella Donna, Pattie Gonia, and Upchuck. Following the festival, the band will embark on a three-night residency at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium from August 20th to 22nd.
A pre-sale for tickets to Field of Vision II is set to begin on Wednesday, December 3rd, accessible via the festival’s official website. General ticket sales will commence on Friday, December 5th, at 12:00 p.m. ET.
The general ticket sale for the Forest Hills residency will also start on Friday, December 5th at 12:00 p.m. ET through AXS. The performances at Forest Hills will feature rock shows for the first two nights, concluding with a rave set on the final night.
This past summer, King Gizzard joined several artists in withdrawing from Spotify in response to CEO Daniel Ek’s investment in artificial intelligence military technologies. In a later interview, frontman Stu Mackenzie stated they were not aiming to “start a movement,” but chose to act based on what they feel is right.
The Australian psychedelic rock group is positioned to close out 2025 with a series of orchestral and rock shows in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
