Kendra Duggar’s Mugshot Surfaces Following Her Arrest in Arkansas
Kendra Duggar Arrested on Criminal Charges Alongside Husband Joseph
TONTITOWN, AR — Kendra Duggar, 27, has been arrested following the revelation of a mugshot captured shortly after her detention. Both Kendra and her husband, Joseph Duggar, face serious charges, including four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment, as stated in a press release from the Tontitown Police Department on March 20.
Authorities confirmed that Kendra was taken into custody at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas. She was booked at 4:56 p.m. and released by 6:19 p.m. after posting a bond of $1,470. Kendra is scheduled to appear in court on March 23.
This incident follows Joseph Duggar’s recent arrest on similar charges, stemming from accusations related to an incident involving a 9-year-old girl in 2020. Joseph, 31, was taken into custody on March 18, facing charges of lewd and lascivious behavior involving a minor.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office indicated that the charges against Joseph emerged from allegations made by a 14-year-old who reported that Joseph had abused her during a family vacation in Panama City Beach. According to the police statement, the youth recounted instances of inappropriate touching, including manipulation of her underwear.
During a recent court appearance via Zoom, Joseph did not enter a plea and waived his right to an extradition hearing. He has agreed to be transferred to Florida to face the charges.
The Duggar family is no stranger to legal issues. Years prior, Joseph’s older brother, Josh Duggar, was convicted of child pornography and sentenced to over 12 years in federal prison in December 2021.
Since their marriage in September 2017, Joseph and Kendra have largely maintained a low profile, focusing on raising their four children—Garrett, Addison, Brooklyn, and Justus.
As of now, neither Joseph nor Kendra has issued a public statement regarding the recent developments.
