Winter Storm Fern has transformed Kelly Ripa’s New York City home into a picturesque winter scene. The 55-year-old television host took to Instagram to share videos of the heavy snowfall on January 25, offering followers a glimpse of the snow drifts surrounding her residence.
In her first clip, Ripa filmed from outside, capturing the snowflakes accumulating on the ground. The next video segment showcased her home’s snowy rooftop terrace, where deep snow covered outdoor furniture and obscured her plants.

Ripa’s winter terrace looks strikingly different from its summertime appearance, when she has shared snapshots of romantic rooftop dinners with Consuelos. In one light-hearted Instagram post from April 2024, she featured her husband gesturing at their dinner table, captioning it, “First rooftop dinner of spring with @instasuelos.”

Alongside glimpses of their terrace, Ripa and Consuelos have also shared a detailed look at their home of over 12 years in a December 2024 video tour with Architectural Digest. The couple, married for almost 30 years, describe their residence as their “favorite place on earth,” where they have created countless family memories. They have three children: sons Michael, 28, and Joaquin, 22, and daughter Lola, 24.
“We’ve moved several times in our lives, but no matter where we go, for me, this is my forever home,” Ripa stated. “When I walked in here I was like, ‘this is the final place where I will live.’ I love this house so much.”
Ripa and Consuelos frequently document the changing seasons at their home, from the snowy winter views to the lively Halloween festivities that take place each year.
As Winter Storm Fern continued to move across the country, it brought blizzard conditions to New York City, resulting in significant snowfall but less than the initially forecasted 18 inches. The storm affected various states, spreading snow in places like Kansas, Maryland, and Oklahoma, and causing ice and freezing rain in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Texas.
