Kelly Clarkson’s Unique Airport Look Features a Sparkly Jumpsuit Inspired by David Bowie
Kelly Clarkson Stuns in Bold Airport Outfit
Kelly Clarkson made waves this week with a striking video posted on her Instagram, showcasing an unexpected airport ensemble that turned heads. The Grammy-winning artist donned a plunging, bedazzled V-neck jumpsuit, complete with stylish shoulder pads and flared pant legs, as she exited the Houston Rodeo.
"Just casually leaving the Houston rodeo for my flight," Clarkson noted in the video, casually emphasizing her glamorous look.
In the clip, she noted the unique challenges of changing outfits while in transit. “I couldn’t change in the car because it’s, well, daylight,” she added. “I’m just casually coming in in my David Bowie number. Just gonna check in. I want to fly the whole flight like this."
Clarkson’s post featured a caption that playfully reflected on her journey, stating, “Thanks Houston! I came in casual and leaving bedazzled,” accompanied by a laughing emoji.
While Clarkson’s fashion statement delighted fans, it also sparked nostalgia as she reminisced about her early career. Almost 20 years after winning American Idol, she expressed her lingering surprise at not receiving the car she was promised during the competition.
"I literally was on the show, and they were like, ‘Oh, you win a million dollars’ or whatever. No, you didn’t. It was, like, a million dollars worth of investment in you," Clarkson explained during a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. She mentioned that she needed a vehicle due to an accident but was surprised when Clay Aiken, a contestant from a later season, received the car instead.
"I did not get a car,” she stated, recalling her reaction to Aiken’s good fortune. "And then Clay Aiken, who didn’t win the second season, got a car and his mom [did too]! I was like, ‘What the fuck?’”
As Clarkson continues to redefine her public persona, her unique airport style and candid reflections on her past have captured the attention of fans worldwide.
