Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant demonstrated their affectionate bond on a charming date at New York City’s Rockefeller Center. The couple delighted fans by sharing both photos and a video on social media as they skated in front of the venue’s famous Christmas tree.

In her Instagram caption, Grant revealed, “Last Monday, after the run of Waiting for Godot, Keanu invited me on a date in New York City.” Reeves, aged 61, made his Broadway debut in the revival of the Samuel Beckett play last fall, sharing the stage with his Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure co-star Alex Winter.

The couple’s Instagram video featured moments of them holding hands and skating, as they wobbled across the ice. Grant also expressed gratitude to the “skating community” and the Rockefeller Center, noting the support and warmth they experienced during their outing. “You made us feel right at home, cheering us on, and offering us hot cocoa and pompom hats,” she added. “Thank you, too, to the folks behind the scenes who made this special night happen.”

In her post, Grant also expressed support for the upcoming Milan Winter Olympics, encouraging the next generation of skaters and Olympians. “We’re inspired by how you’re choosing to train and eat on your terms…finding joy in a sport that requires so many hours of practice to perfect,” she wrote, adding, “We’re rooting for you @milanocortina2026!”

The relationship between the Matrix star and Grant has been public since 2019, although they have been linked since 2011. They co-founded X Artists Books, a publishing imprint, in 2017. Though selective about their public appearances, Grant has accompanied Reeves to various red carpet events, including for his upcoming film, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina.

Most recently, Grant shared highlights from their New Year’s celebration with comedian Sandra Bernhard at Joe’s Pub in New York City, where she reflected on future moments together. Reeves is set to appear in Jonah Hill’s upcoming film, Outcome, sharing the screen with Hill and Cameron Diaz.
