Katy Perry Shares Joyful Life Update with Boyfriend Justin Trudeau, Calling ‘Karma’ Truly Rewarding

Pop star Katy Perry is embracing a joyful chapter in her life, recently sharing a series of photos on Instagram. The images highlight her happiness, which she attributes in part to her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
On Tuesday, April 7, Perry posted pictures from a recent event where she and Trudeau were dressed in elegant black attire. One notable photo captures Perry with her hand resting on Trudeau’s chest while looking up at him, with Trudeau placing a hand on her hip.
“Never knew karma could be so rewarding,” Perry wrote in her post.
Additionally, Perry shared a vibrant video of herself biking along the beach and a picture of her daughter, Daisy Dove, assembling a colorful design on what appears to be a giant Lite-Brite. The post also featured a clip from her Lifetimes Tour—which took place from April to December last year—leading many fans to speculate about the possibility of a concert film.
“Is that a Lifetimes Tour movie tease I see HELLO?!” commented one fan, while another proclaimed, “OMG the Lifetimes Tour movie is comingggg.” Billboard has reached out to Perry’s representative to confirm whether a concert film is indeed in development.
Perry and Trudeau began dating last summer, with rumors first surfacing in July. They made their public debut as a couple in October while walking hand-in-hand in Paris. Their relationship became official on social media in December when Trudeau posted photos from a diplomatic lunch alongside Fumio Kishida, the former Prime Minister of Japan.
Perry’s most recent album, 143, released in 2024, debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. In November of the same year, she released the single “Bandaids.”
