This year’s distinguished guests include Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who will partake in readings. Babatunde Aléshé and Joe Locke will also contribute, accompanied by pianist Paul Gladstone Reid.
The festivities will feature performances by Hannah Waddingham, Griff, Katie Melua, and Dan Smith, alongside a special number by the Cornish folk group Fisherman’s Friends. This participation continues Waddingham’s collaboration with the royal family, as she is a supporter of Prince William’s Earthshot Prize initiative.

Westminster Abbey’s renowned choir will perform beloved carols, as confirmed by Kate Middleton’s office. The evening will begin with music from eight young performers aged 3 to 18 from Future Talent, a charity co-founded by the late Katharine, Duchess of Kent, and Nicholas Robinson.

The theme of this year’s service is “Love in All Its Forms,” emphasizing the importance of connections among families, friends, and communities, especially in a world often divided.
Kensington Palace expressed, “The service will celebrate love in all its forms—spanning generations, cultures, and faiths—as we are reminded of the power of togetherness. The evening is designed to highlight the transformative impact of compassion, presence, and joy.”

The service at Westminster Abbey will also honor the causes and patronages that the royal couple has supported throughout the year.
Middleton reflects on a significant year, having announced her remission from cancer earlier in January. She has noted that spending time in nature has supported her during challenging times.
Horticulturist Jamie Butterworth will enhance the festive atmosphere at the event, which will feature wreaths created in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society, schoolchildren, and ambassadors.

In conjunction with the service at Westminster Abbey, additional community carol services will take place at 15 locations across the United Kingdom, including Manchester, Berkshire, Newport, and St. David’s.
The Together at Christmas service is set to be filmed for broadcast as part of *Royal Carols: Together at Christmas*, scheduled to air on ITV1 and ITVX in the U.K. on Christmas Eve, with a repeat showing on Christmas Day.
