Kate Middleton Radiates Elegance in a Stylish Blue Houndstooth Dress at Charity Event
Princess Kate Middleton Shines in Stylish Appearance at Anna Freud Centre
Princess Kate Middleton made a noteworthy public appearance at the Anna Freud Centre in London on Thursday, November 27. The 43-year-old Duchess of Cambridge captivated attendees in a chic blue houndstooth long-sleeved dress, accentuated with a matching belt that cinched at the waist and a sophisticated high-neck collar.
Kate complemented her outfit with dazzling sapphire drop earrings set in diamonds and opted for light-blue pumps. Her hair flowed in loose waves over one shoulder, adding to her elegant demeanor.
For the past decade, the Princess has actively supported the Anna Freud Centre, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing research and treatment in child mental health. She became the organization’s patron in 2016.
Reflecting on her visit, Kate shared on social media, "An insightful afternoon discussing the vital role of relationships and connection in shaping children and young people’s mental health at the Anna Freud Centre." She expressed pride in introducing a new collaboration between the Anna Freud Centre and The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, aimed at enhancing the skills of health visitors in promoting early social and emotional development. She remarked, "A pleasure meeting the families who helped shape the curriculum and marking the appointment of Peter Fonagy as President of the Anna Freud Centre."
In an additional post, she described the engagement as an "important visit" focused on the organization’s new Institute of Health Visiting project.

"This program will enhance the skills of health visitors and those who work alongside them to support early social and emotional development," she added, emphasizing its foundation in evidence and contributions from practitioners, professional leaders, and families.
Kate has gradually resumed her public engagements following her cancer treatment earlier this year. After being diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in early 2024, she announced in January that she is in remission.
During a visit to a hospital in Essex in July, Kate recalled her experiences with treatment, stating, “You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment’s done, then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,’ but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.” She acknowledged the importance of support during recovery and characterized her journey as a "roller-coaster" experience filled with unexpected challenges.
As she continues her public appearances, Kate has also recently sported lighter hair, a change that actress Su Pollard complimented during a joint event at London’s Royal Albert Hall earlier this month.
