Justin Bieber and Hailey’s Date Night Takes a Turn with Paparazzi Encounter

Justin Bieber faced another tense encounter with paparazzi during a recent date night in Los Angeles with his wife, Hailey. The incident occurred on Friday, March 6, after the couple enjoyed a late-night dinner at Sushi Park in West Hollywood.
Footage obtained by TMZ shows a visibly frustrated Bieber attempting to shield his face as he and Hailey made their way to a black SUV. Once inside the vehicle, he threw a nearly full Fiji water bottle toward the paparazzi. The bottle landed harmlessly on the ground, and the couple quickly departed.
This incident underscores ongoing tensions between Bieber and photographers. Last summer, leading up to the release of his seventh studio album, Swag, Bieber gained attention for confronting paparazzi. He was recorded asking, “It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business, is it?”—a phrase that subsequently became a popular meme.
In April 2025, Bieber criticized the “darkness” prevalent in Los Angeles, especially regarding his interactions with the paparazzi. He shared an Instagram video illustrating his discomfort as he navigated a barrage of camera flashes, with photographers obstructing his path.
“Look at these guys, man,” he remarked disapprovingly in the video, while his security guard urged the paparazzi to step back.
Bieber’s ongoing struggle with paparazzi has been well-documented since his rise to fame in 2009 at the age of 15. He has repeatedly spoken out against the invasive nature of their pursuits. The April 2025 incident recalled a similar experience from 2014, when his Ferrari was rear-ended by a photographer who wouldn’t relent.
“There should be laws against what I just experienced,” he expressed on X at the time. “We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana…”
