As the trial approaches between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, tensions are escalating in the multi-million dollar case surrounding the production of It Ends With Us and its alleged fallout. Additionally, author Colleen Hoover, whose novel inspired the film, is also being mentioned in connection with these efforts to control the courtroom narrative.
Nathan’s legal representatives argue that the decision to introduce evidence involving her past work with various clients, including controversial figures like Johnny Depp and Rebel Wilson, would unfairly depict her as immoral. They assert that this information is irrelevant to the case at hand, as Lively’s allegations do not claim that these practices were employed against her.
Amid these tensions, Lively maintains that the defendants launched a preemptive online attack against her, orchestrated by Nathan and her associates, in an effort to discredit her before she could come forward with accusations against Baldoni. The proposed smear campaign reportedly involved a barrage of negative online content aimed at damaging Lively’s reputation.
