Though December is just beginning, Jung Kook is already looking ahead to spring. This season marks the much-anticipated return of the members of BTS.
On Monday (Dec. 15), it was announced that the K-pop star is the latest cover star for Elle Korea, featured on the front of nine different variants of the magazine’s new issue. While promoting his collaboration with Chanel Beauty, Jung Kook hinted at significant developments in the first half of 2026.
In his remarks, he expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming spring, stating, “I think this spring will be more important than ever. So I sincerely hope you all have a safe and enjoyable spring.”
Jung Kook, along with bandmates RM, Suga, V, and Jimin, were discharged from the South Korean military in June. Shortly thereafter, they reunited with j-hope and Jin to confirm that a new BTS album and tour are in the works. In October, RM encouraged fans by saying, “Please look forward to late March.”
During their time apart, the group focused on individual projects. Jung Kook last released solo music over a year ago, with the single “Never Let Go” in the summer of 2024.
Now, the members are diligently preparing new material for their fans. In a conversation with Elle Korea, Jung Kook shared his thoughts on what makes music worthwhile.
“I think good music is still a song with a good message and good lyrics,” he noted. “Music that transcends seasons and genres, and songs that can give strength to anyone.”
