Julia Roberts Shares Sweet Photo as Twins Hazel and Phinnaeus Turn 21: Time Really Flies!

Julia Roberts’s twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, recently celebrated their 21st birthday.

On Friday, November 28, the Oscar-winning actress, 58, took to Instagram to share a nostalgic photo of her children, marking the milestone birthday. “These game changers, life alterers, [heart] expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast,” she wrote in her heartfelt message. “Happy Birthday my Dears.”

Ali Wentworth, a fellow actress, joined in the celebration by commenting, “Happy Birthday to the best!”

Roberts shares her twins with her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder. The couple, who have been together since 2002, also welcomed their son Henry, who is now 18.

In an earlier appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in October, Roberts discussed the transition to an empty nest as her children have all moved out. “It’s all fun, honestly,” she said. “My kids — I know everyone thinks their kids are great, well… I think my kids are great.”

Roberts expressed her enjoyment of spending time with her children, stating, “I love hanging out with them and spending time with them. Fortunately, we have had lots of visits along the way of this empty nest.”

Looking ahead, Roberts shared her aspirations for her newfound free time. “I think I’d like to do another play,” she said. “Now that my kids are out of the house, I think that I could devote that kind of laser focus again to something like that because [that’s] such a different kind of commitment to make than a film.”

In May, Moder also acknowledged Roberts and their children with a rare family photo for Mother’s Day. In the image, they all shared smiles, showcasing a close-knit family dynamic.

“Mothers make the coolest stuff,” Moder captioned the post. “Love these guys.”
