The Jonas Brothers have had an eventful year, celebrating their 20th anniversary with an extensive 75-date tour, titled the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour. They also released their seventh studio album, Greetings From Your Hometown, and filmed two Disney movies: A Very Jonas Christmas, which is currently available on Disney+, and the eagerly awaited Camp Rock 3. The band’s busy year began in March with their inaugural JONASCON event held at American Dream in New Jersey, where they performed six sets for thousands of fans. The year will culminate with a New Year’s Eve performance.

This bustling schedule and unwavering dedication to their fans is what positions them at the forefront of PEOPLE’s Best of 2025 issue.
In addition to their group efforts, Nick, 33, Joe, 36, and Kevin, 38, have been pursuing individual musical projects as well. Kevin debuted his first solo single, "Changing," during the August 23 show in Boston, with the official release occurring on November 20.

“I’m so happy it was so well received,” Kevin remarked about the positive fan feedback during PEOPLE’s Best of 2025 cover shoot in Houston in October. “I’m excited about ‘Changing’ and wherever it leads me. But for now, it’s really fun to play on the tour and get support from the guys while I find my journey. Twenty years in the making."
Despite this progress, Kevin noted that fans should not anticipate a solo album in the immediate future. “I’m still figuring it out. Taking it one song at a time,” he said.
Joe, who released a solo album titled Music For People Who Believe in Love earlier this year, mentioned that he is also working on new music, including another DNCE album.

“We went to New York and had a week at one of the most incredible studios. We had four rooms going at once at some points. You just step in, and it could be Nick’s solo song or one for me or DNCE,” Joe recalled, noting the creative experience. “To wear different creative hats was really rewarding. I have a bunch of stuff in the works.”
On November 3, Nick announced his upcoming solo album, Sunday Best, during an intimate brunch event in Las Vegas. This album, which is set to be released on February 6, marks his first solo record in nearly six years.
During the Best of 2025 shoot, Nick discussed the unique challenges of recording while on tour.

“The writing process and staying creative while cutting vocals backstage has been really inspiring and energizing because you can see that what you’re working on can be performed in front of a live audience,” he explained. “Even yesterday, Kevin and I were backstage working on a song until just before we were called to perform.”
Kevin expressed optimism about his brothers’ individual projects, stating, “The stuff they’re creating is the greatest music that I’ve heard from them both, ever.”
