Jonas Brothers Reflect on Their Busy 2025: Touring, a Holiday Movie, and Embracing Fatherhood
While many celebrities are known for extravagant on-set demands—such as all-green M&Ms or a dozen white candles—the Jonas Brothers have a far simpler request. The trio, who have maintained their star status for over two decades, asked for just one thing during their recent cover shoot with *People* at the Thompson Hotel in Houston: a television in their room to keep up with a football game. Despite their packed schedule leading up to a concert for 19,000 fans at the Toyota Center,Kevin, 38, Joe, 36, and Nick, 33, took quick moments to check the game score, even as their New York Giants faced a narrow defeat against the Denver Broncos, losing 33-32.
A hectic Sunday is par for the course for the Jonas Brothers, who have been notably active this year. They hosted the JONASCON fan convention in March in celebration of their 20th anniversary as pop-rock icons. August saw the release of their seventh album, the critically acclaimed *Greetings From Your Hometown*, alongside the kick-off of their extended 75-date JONAS20 tour, set to wrap up at year’s end. They are also set to appear in their first holiday movie, *A Very Jonas Christmas Movie*, streaming on Disney+.

Despite their roots appealing to millennial nostalgia, the group has successfully attracted a younger audience as well. “We’re making stuff for our fans—and our fans have kids themselves now,” notes Nick.
The brothers have also embraced their roles as fathers. Kevin has two daughters, Alena, 11, and Valentina, 9, with wife Danielle; Joe shares his daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with his ex-wife Sophie Turner; while Nick has a daughter, Malti, 3, with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
As they prepare for another eventful year, the brothers stood back to reflect on their journey:
How would you describe your 2025?
KEVIN JONAS: It has not stopped.
JOE JONAS: It’s been full-on.
NICK JONAS: It’s been a year of surprises.

Reflecting on their extensive touring experience, Nick admits, “It’s still baffling to us that we’re doing this at this level and that fans are supporting us in the way they are.” He added, “The practical aspect is that we are getting older and don’t have all the energy we had when we were in our teens.” The brothers also shared their preshow preparations. “We have TVs in our dressing rooms where we can watch people enter the venue to see their excitement,” Joe explained. Meanwhile, Nick used downtime during the tour to finish a solo album, *Sunday Best*, set to release on February 6.
Kevin humorously highlighted his focus on helping his daughters with homework, noting the complexities of modern math. As the trio gears up for another busy year, they are also acutely aware of their impact on fans.
On social media, fans are showing just how emotional they get at your shows. What are you doing to make them cry?!
NICK: [At the start] I say, “It’s not just the three of us up here. It’s each and every one of you. You’re a part of the story.” Bringing in our youngest brother Franklin and our parents at the end of the show to recreate the Jonas family living room is a moment that even makes me emotional.
Joe commented on the playful fan signs he often sees, stating, “I think it’s hilarious. As long as it’s playful. You’re going to a concert—have fun with it.”
Turning to their upcoming film, *A Very Jonas Christmas Movie*, Joe described it as a long-desired project. “It’s been a bucket list item for us to do a holiday film,” he said. Nick added, “We wanted to give the audience a real look at our life, which comes at a really important time for us in our careers, but more importantly, as parents.”

As they discussed shooting *Camp Rock 3*, Joe and Kevin reminisced about their early days. “It was wild,” Kevin recalled. “We got to the set and saw cast members from the original movies.” Joe confessed, “I was flooded with emotion again. I didn’t expect to be hit like this.”
As supportive brothers, Nick highlighted the importance of being there for one another. “It’s important to just be able to listen when someone’s going through something,” he said.
The conversation also turned introspective, focusing on their roles as parents. Each brother hopes to foster positive traits in their daughters, emphasizing kindness and safety. Kevin noted how impressed he is with his daughters’ growing independence.
Looking to the future, the brothers shared aspirations for their children. “I hope she adopts a lot of my wife’s traits,” Nick said, while Joe stressed the importance of making his daughters feel safe. Kevin jokingly remarked about hoping to avoid passing down his own reactivity.
Finally, with a touch of humor, the brothers were asked if they could handle their daughters’ hair routines. “I’m getting it down,” Nick said of his curly-haired daughter, while Kevin added that he’s learning the fishtail braid.
As they reflected on their accomplishments, the Jonas Brothers shared aspirations that included dreams of being honored in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and perhaps even having a rest stop named after them in New Jersey.

The brothers expressed enthusiasm for their ongoing projects, with Kevin excited about his solo work. “I’m excited about the song ‘Changing’ and wherever it leads me,” he remarked. Joe also mentioned the collaborative efforts happening in the studio and how much they enjoy exploring new musical avenues.
As the year winds down, the brothers look forward to some quiet family time during the holidays. “Having a quiet morning with familiar faces—that’s what it’s about,” Joe affirmed. Nick expressed his excitement to build a fire, reminiscing about holiday traditions, while Kevin looked forward to spending their first Christmas in a new home.
