Los Angeles Magazine Hosts 17th Annual Food Event at Hummingbird Nest Ranch
On November 12, 2023, Los Angeles magazine celebrated its 17th annual epicurean event, The Food Event, held at the picturesque Hummingbird Nest Ranch in the Santa Susana Mountains. This highly anticipated gathering showcased a wealth of culinary delights from various restaurants across Los Angeles, featuring an array of tastings, craft cocktails, and boutique wines.
The event included a Chef Demonstration Stage, hosted by Kimlai Yingling of KTLA and The Today Show. Notable chefs, including Vanda Asapahu of Ayara Thai and Neal Fraser of Redbird, demonstrated their culinary skills throughout the day. The schedule was packed with engaging performances, starting at 2:30 p.m. and concluding later in the afternoon.
As the exclusive mezcal partner, Mezcal 33 mixed cocktails for attendees, while Mountain Valley Spring Water ensured guests remained refreshed with ample hydration options.
Various activations enriched the experience, courtesy of sponsors. Delta Air Lines provided a stylish lounge for relaxation, allowing guests to unwind in comfort while sampling the event’s offerings. Additionally, Fontainebleau Las Vegas set up an engraving station where attendees could personalize keepsake glasses.
