Join Greg and Ted on Their Fun Studio Lot Tour with David Zaslav—Check Out the Photos!
Netflix Co-CEOs Greg Peters and Ted Sarandos visited the Warner Bros. Discovery studio lot in Burbank, California, on Wednesday, accompanied by CEO David Zaslav. The visit is notable as it comes amid discussions surrounding possible acquisitions and strategic partnerships in the entertainment sector.
In photos released by Warner Bros. Discovery, Peters and Sarandos exuded confidence, akin to characters from the iconic film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Their presence at the studio suggested a playful yet serious commitment to future collaborations.
The trio’s visit featured photo opportunities in front of the Warner Bros. water tower and interactions with around 400 members of WBD’s leadership team. These interactions carried implications of a deepening relationship between Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery, especially in light of ongoing acquisition discussions.

The visit coincided with the WBD board’s rejection of Paramount’s $108 billion hostile takeover bid, reaffirming their commitment to Netflix’s $83 billion offer for the studio’s assets. The timing and tone of the meeting were viewed as a deliberate demonstration of strength towards rival companies.

Neither Warner Bros. Discovery nor Netflix provided official comments on the visit. However, the accompanying caption highlighted Zaslav’s role in welcoming Peters and Sarandos to the studio.
During the meeting, Sarandos and Peters expressed their intention to foster growth in the business and reiterated their commitment to supporting theatrical releases, which Warner Bros. has planned through 2029.

This recent corporate gathering underscored the ever-shifting dynamics of the entertainment industry. Just two months prior, Peters had dismissed the idea of an acquisition involving the Ellison family, which now appears to be a focus of renewed interest.
While the landscape continues to evolve following WBD’s rejection of Paramount’s overtures, speculation remains surrounding potential future negotiations. The ongoing discussions suggest that David and Larry Ellison may intensify their efforts to pursue ownership of Warner Bros. Discovery ahead of a set deadline in January 2026.
As these developments unfold, questions linger about the roles of Peters and Sarandos in shaping the future of the connected media landscape.
