John Brodie, the Hall of Fame quarterback renowned for his time with the San Francisco 49ers, has passed away at the age of 90. Brodie’s impressive 17-year career in the NFL culminated in his recognition as the league’s Most Valuable Player in 1970.
During his tenure with the 49ers, Brodie showcased his skills as a prolific passer, leading the team to consecutive NFC championship games. Despite his success, he never had the opportunity to compete in a Super Bowl.
Following his football career, Brodie transitioned to golf, where he found significant success on the Senior PGA Tour. At age 56, he won a major tournament, further solidifying his legacy in sports.
