Caitlin O’Connor and Joe Manganiello have officially settled down in Pittsburgh, a city they both hold dear.

In an exclusive interview, O’Connor, 36, shared that she and her fiancé, 48, have relocated from Los Angeles back to their childhood home. The newly engaged couple now resides in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, which O’Connor described as a “recent move.”

“I mean, L.A. has been both of our homes for over 20 years,” she noted. “I was born in L.A., but raised in Pittsburgh, so we’re both from the same hometown.”

O’Connor highlighted the significance of their shared ties, stating that this commonality is a core aspect of their relationship. “That’s what we really connect on, you know, we share the same upbringing, the same hometown knowledge. And that’s what really connects us as a couple,” she remarked. “So it’s beautiful to be back home together.”

She expressed her appreciation for their neighborhood, describing it as not only beautiful but also feeling “safe.” “I’ve never been in a more beautiful neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It’s just idyllic,” O’Connor added, clarifying that their decision to move had been carefully considered. “We were thinking about it for a while.”

Although the couple will continue to travel between Los Angeles and New York City for work, O’Connor confirmed that Pittsburgh will be their primary residence. She remarked on their enjoyment of the snowy weather, sharing a light moment about watching Manganiello shovel snow. “I mean, I watched Joe shovel snow in our driveway for two-and-a-half hours yesterday. And it was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen,” she joked.

O’Connor further shared her excitement for the upcoming holiday season in Pittsburgh, anticipating a “big family celebration.” Their parents are either traveling to Pittsburgh for the holidays or already residing nearby.

She mentioned that the couple has amassed a diverse ornament collection during their travels over the last two years, trying to pick up a piece from every location they visit. “Joe and I have been sort of on a world tour since we met. We’ve traveled to over 70 cities in the last two years,” O’Connor noted, adding, “We try to collect a piece of art from all over the world and bring it back.”

The couple, who first sparked romance rumors in September 2023 and confirmed their relationship by December, announced their engagement in October 2025. They shared the news on Instagram, revealing that the proposal occurred on June 24, 2025.
