Jeremy Clarkson Criticizes Fan Page for Sharing Viral Clip of Him Punching the UK Prime Minister
Jeremy Clarkson has publicly criticized a fan account of Clarkson’s Farm for sharing a viral AI-generated video that depicts him attacking UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
On March 10, the account @ClarksonsFarm1 posted a nine-second clip showing an avatar of Clarkson removing Starmer from his fictional Farmer’s Dog pub before hitting him twice. The video rapidly gained traction, amassing 5.7 million views and approximately 69,000 likes. However, its visibility has since decreased, as it was flagged for potentially violating X’s policies against violent content.
Several politicians voiced their objections to the video. Trade Minister Chris Bryant remarked, “Come on @ClarksonsFarm1 take it down. I’m all for freedom of speech but not inciting or glorifying violence.”
In response, Clarkson stated, “That site is a menace. And they’ve blocked me.” His comments were made via a tweet on March 11.

Clarkson has previously expressed frustration with @ClarksonsFarm1, emphasizing that it is not affiliated with him or his Amazon Prime Video series. Last September, he wrote, “It is important to remember that this account has nothing to do with me,” and more recently added, “That operation drives me mad. I wish they’d stop it.”
Labour MP Dawn Butler also criticized the video, stating, “Millions watching an AI video of Jeremy Clarkson beating up Keir Starmer. It might seem like a ‘joke’ but normalising violence in politics damages our democracy. I’m calling for an urgent Digital Human Rights Bill to protect people’s identity and likeness online.”
